Beautiful! I had to visit the heart doctor as well with my daughter died. I wore a heart monitor for three months and same thing; not a definite diagnosis, but definitely irregular heartbeat, and probably a valve issue blah blah blah. Which confirmed yes, my heart was broken. I love the Japanese language as well. This was wonderful.
What a metaphor! I can see it, I can feel it. I understand how the sudden, unexpected news of Eliot's death could have created this immediate expansion.
My son's death occurred in increments over at least 3 years, so now I'm looking for my own metaphor. My heart too, certainly has disintegrated in some way.
Thank you, Victoria. It's amazing what the heart can endure. Sue told me about the book,A Broken Heart Still Beats. So many truths. Wrapping you is care and love. It's what keeps us going. 💔

Thank you for your warm words. Grateful for your sacred connection as we walk achingly similar heart paths together.

Thank you. I'll take a look at the book. Like you, I had many heartbreaks before losing my son.
Beautiful, Elaine! And I learned something!
And for you, dear Dina.💜
